Here, a NVW master carver takes a piece of antler to depict three ravens gradually emerging from within its core. The birds are captured in flight, against a background of polished Whitby jet tablets, suspended from platinum hoops, hand engraved with gossamer feathers. The intimate scale of these earrings makes for precious ornamentation.
